Recalled Brazil striker Diego Tardelli struck a late goal to secure Atletico Mineiro a 1-0 victory over Internacional in Brazil's Serie A championship.
The 29-year-old ran onto Luan's through ball before firing an unstoppable shot past former AC Milan goalkeeper Dida Saturday, reports Xinhua.
Earlier, Tardelli wasted a chance to put his side ahead when he fired a shot wide of the target with only Dida to beat.
The former PSV Eindhoven forward was given the chance to add to his five Brazil caps when he was last week named in Dunga's squad for September friendlies against Colombia and Ecuador.
Saturday's strike took his season tally to five goals from 13 matches.
Atletico's victory at the Arena Independencia lifted the Belo Horizonte-based club to sixth in the standings with 26 points while Internacional remained second on 31 points.
Meanwhile Botafogo climbed to 12th in the standings by defeating Chapecoense 1-0 at Rio's Maracana stadium.
