Teenage striker Felipe Vizeu scored either side of halftime as Flamengo defeated Atletico Mineiro 2-1 in Brazil's Serie A football championship here.
Vizeu, a Brazil under-20 international, swept in a low finish after Federico Mancuello's assist and added another after being set up by Fernandinho on Sunday, reports Xinhua.
The result at the Mane Garrincha stadium lifted Flamengo to fourth, five points behind leaders Palmeiras, with 23 points from 14 matches.
In Sao Paulo, Alan Kardec scored a brace to fire the hosts to a 3-0 victory over America Mineiro. Defender Lyanco was also on the scoresheet for the hosts.
Meanwhile, Gremio remained third in the standings following a 2-1 victory over Figueirense, Santa Cruz beat Internacional 1-0 and Fluminense held Vitoria to a 0-0 draw.
