The Border Security Force (BSF) Monday recovered nearly 11 kg of heroin in this Punjab district bordering Pakistan, officials said.

BSF officials said that the seizure was made in Bhikiwind area, 30 km from here. Pakistani smugglers, who allegedly pushed the drugs consignment from the Pakistan side late Sunday night, escaped under the cover of darkness.
