Border Security Force personnel on Thursday unearthed a tunnel near the international border in R.S. Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
"BSF personnel have discovered an underground tunnel at Allah Maie Kothay area in R.S. Pura sector of the International Border in Jammu district," Police sources told IANS.
Initial inspection revealed that the tunnel was over 50 feet in length.
Senior BSF officers have reached the spot to ascertain whether the tunnel could have been dug to facilitate infiltration from across the border.
