The budget session of Odisha Assembly will commence from March 20, an official notification said on Saturday.
The budget session will be held in two phases - while the first phase will begin from March 20 with Governor S.C. Jamir's address and go on to March 31, the second phase would begin from April 11 and go on till May 5.
Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera would present the budget for 2018-19 on March 23.
General discussion on Budget will commence from March 26 and the Appropriation Bill on the vote of account will be presented on March 31, said the notification.
