Josip Drmic's equaliser secured Nuremberg a 1-1 draw against Stuttgart to open the 10th round of German Bundesliga.
Nuremberg still await their first win of the season. Yet, it was a valuable point regarding their relegation play off spot as they moved to seven points out of 10 matches, reports Xinhua.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart Friday extended their unbeaten run to seven games, entering the top six for now.
"The outcome of the match is not so bad. But, we have to improve our style of play. The first game is always important for a new coach but I can live with the draw," Nuremberg's new coach Gertjan Verbeek said after the match.
