Croatia's football team captain Darijo Srna is returning to his homeland on Monday from France to attend the funeral of his father who died on Sunday night.
The funeral of the Shakhtar Donetsk defender's father is set to take place in a town on the southern tip of Croatia, reports Efe.
Srna's father died before the Euro championship game against Turkey and the 34-year-old player was informed after the 1-0 victory.
Croatian media said that Srna will be replaced by Sime Vrsaljko, if he is not ready to participate in the match against the Czech Republic on Friday.
