The Delhi Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a casino and arrested 30 people in a raid at a farmhouse here.
The illegal casino was being run by a man named Radhe Shyam at a farmhouse owned by Major Suresh Yadav (retd) on Dera Mandi Road in Fatehpur Beri.
"It is a sprawling 13 acre farmhouse and is for shooting of television serials and films," Deputy Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh told IANS.
"The 30 persons who have been arrested include 14 players and 5 female casino attendants. The rest of them were bar attendants. Among the players, few were businessmen," he said.
Singh said plastic coins that were being used as tokens in the casino were worth over Rs 3 crore.
Thirteen luxury vehicles have also been seized.
