Abu Dhabi, April 25 (IANS/WAM) Cathay Pacific Airways will launch a new weekly passenger service between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, the Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) has said.
The new Riyadh service will commence May 4, and will be operated by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The flight will depart from Abu Dhabi every Saturday at 10 p.m. to arrive in Riyadh at 10.45 p.m.. On Tuesdays, the flight will depart Riyadh at 10.25 p.m. and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 01.10 a.m. Wednesday.
Ahmad Al Haddabi, ADAC chief operations officer, said the Abu Dhabi-Saudi market grew by 26 percent during 2012, both in terms of origin and destination and transfer traffic.
