Spanish football club Celta Vigo has announced the contract renewal of its Argentine head coach Eduardo 'Toto' Berizzo for a season until June 2017.
Vigo on Tuesday said on its official website that Celta's project for next season, which aims to return to European competitions after 10 years absence, already has a solid foundation, reports Efe.
In the summer of 2014 the Argentine coach returned to Celta, where he had been a player, to replace Luis Enrique.
In his first season, Berizzo managed to finish La Liga in eighth position, while Vigo are currently in fifth place, which means that the Spanish team can qualify for the Europa League next season.
