Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh Sunday assured the chief ministers of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh of full assistance from the central government to face any situation arising from cyclonic storm 'Hudhud'.
"Had telephonic conversations with the CMs (chief ministers) of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh this (Sunday) morning. They briefed me about the situation on the ground," Singh said in a tweet.
"I assured both the CMs of full cooperation from the centre (central government) and all possible assistance to face any emergent situation post Hudhud's landfall," he said in another tweet.
'Hudhud' Sunday noon hit Andhra coast at Pudimadaka village near Visakhapatnam.
