Two people were killed Sunday in Andhra Pradesh due to heavy rainfall with strong winds in coastal areas as cyclonic storm moved closer to Visakhapatnam coast.
One person was killed in a wall collapse in Visakhapatnam while the other person died when a tree fell on him in Srikakulam district, officials said.
"Very severe cyclonic storm" in the Bay of Bengal is lying about 60 km southeast of Visakhapatnam, said a bulletin by the India Meteorological Department issued Sunday morning.
