Mohammedan Sporting were held to a 1-1 draw by Tollygunge Agragami in a Calcutta Football League (CFL) premier division encounter at the Barasat stadium here on Tuesday.
Dipendu Duwari gave Mohammedan the lead while Imran Khan restored parity for Agragami.
The black and white Sporting brigade are slowly inching closer to finishing second in the league after a string of impressive performances. On the other hand, Tollygunge are languishing at the bottom half of the table.
Duwari broke the deadlock in first-half injury time after finding himself at the end of a cross from the right. He buried the ball in with a brilliant right-footer.
Imran then equalised for his side at the hour mark after latching onto a loose ball after a corner kick.
