Turkey's Galatasaray have advanced to the last 16 in the UEFA Champions League, defeating Italian side Juventus 1-0 in Istanbul.
Galatasaray's midfielder Wesley Sneijder scored the winning goal in the 85th minute, eliminating Juventus from the competition, Wednesday, reports Xinhua.
The match between the two teams was abandoned due to poor weather Tuesday night.
The match was halted in the 31st minute with the score at 0-0 as hail and snow began to fall heavily in Istanbul. Both teams went back to the dressing room to wait for the improvement of the weather.
UEFA later announced that the remaining 59 minutes of the match would be played Wednesday.
