Chandigarh to host India-Korea Davis Cup tie

The second round of the Davis Cup Asia/Oceania group 1 tennis tie between India and South Korea will be held from July 15 to 17 in Chandigarh, it was announced on Monday.

The All India Tennis Association (AITA) on Monday said the Davis Cup tie will be held at the grass courts of Chandigarh club.

"India is scheduled to play Korea in the 2nd Round of Asia/Oceania Group 1 Davis Cup tie. It will be played on the grass courts of Chandigarh Club from July 15 to 17 under the supervision of Haryana Tennis Association," an All India Tennis Association release stated.

The city last hosted a Davis Cup tie against New Zealand in 2012.
