Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu says his plan to work on the sequel to his highly successful Tamil film "Chennai 600028" is still in the ideation phase. However, he is sure he wants to work on it.
"It's definitely there as an idea. We have been planning on reuniting and working on the sequel but everything is still in the ideation stage. It will definitely happen," Prabhu told IANS on the sidelines of the first edition of IIFA Utsavam.
Released in 2007, the film explored themes such as love, friendship and rivalry against the backdrop of a gully cricket.
Commenting on the rumors that he's planning to collaborate on the sequel with filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, he said: "Gautham and I are working together, but it's on a different project".
