Cheryl Fernandez-Versini 'wants her marriage to work'

Singer Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is said to be desperate to make her marriage work amid rumours of troubles.

The "The X Factor" judge has been hit with speculations about the state of her 19-month marriage to French restaurateur Jean-Bernard during last year.

According to Closer magazine, the singer is said to be keen to spend some quality time with her husband when he returns to Britain, reports mirror.co.uk.

"She and JB (Jean-Bernard) have a lot to talk about and wants to spend some quality time with him when he's back in Britain and hash things out face-to-face. She really wants this marriage to work," a source said.

The source also claimed the singer is seeking advice and support from music mogul Simon Cowell.

"He's the person she turns to when she's at her lowest. She feels like she can call him at any time and he'll always be there for her," the insider said.

"He's been her rock through this latest series of The X Factor and she said it's down to Simon that she made it through the show."
