Singer Cheryl Fernandez-Versini refused to be called a "cheater" after rumours spread that she started dating Liam Payne two months before her split from husband Jean-Bernard.

The singer fired back at haters on Twitter, saying: "If anybody believes the s**t they are reading today you really don't know me at all".

According to The Sun newspaper, Jean-Bernard was informed by "The X Factor" insiders that Cheryl's relationship with Liam started in October last year, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Earlier reports said Cheryl and Liam did not start dating after December, after she officially split from Jean-Bernard.
