In a first, US-based automobile giant Chevrolet is introducing a tiny and personal air-conditioner (AC) feature for an overheated smartphone.
Chevrolet believes that the "Active Phone Cooling" system will not only enhance the performance but also increase battery life too.
The smartphone cool-air emitter is connected to the car's air conditioning and ventilation system.
The tiny AC vent sits on a little tray below the dashboard. The cooling system will be available in Impala, Malibu, Volt and Cruze models that are equipped with wireless charging, CNET.com reported.
This is convenient for smartphone users who rely on their devices to play music and take hands-free calls on the road.
Thus, the users get the dual benefit of cooling and charging at the same time.
