Actress Chhavi Pandey has been roped in to play Prarthna Kashyap, who is from Uttar Pradesh and lives in Mumbai with her family, in the upcoming show "Ladies Special".
Sony Entertainment Television is set to present one of its loved shows "Ladies Special" again with a fresh concept. Chhavi has joined actress Girija Oak from Maharashtra in the show.
As Prarthna is the only earning member in her house, the responsibilities have made her mature.
"I am very excited to be a part of 'Ladies Special' and play such an interesting character. This is a challenging role as I have to act (more) mature than my age," Chhavi said in a statement.
"I can relate to my character as she also keeps her family before herself. The best part about the show is that the makers have identified the cast according to their role and region which will help in bringing out the real essence of the role."
"Ladies Special" will be based on women hailing from different backgrounds and their unique friendship. It will show different shades of women and how each one of them foster a great bond with each other as they commute together.
