Delhi reeled under a cold wave Sunday morning as the minimum temperature settled three notches below the season's average at 4.5 degrees Celsius. The day ahead, however, is expected to be pleasant and sunny, the Met Office said.
"The afternoon will be sunny but there will be light mist late evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 19 degrees Celsius, added the official.
Though, dense fog in parts of north India continued to affect trains coming to Delhi.
According to an official of Northern Railway, around 12 rains were running late and one was cancelled.
Saturday was sunny and pleasant. The maximum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 20 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded two notches below the season's average at 4.2 degrees Celsius.
