The People's Bank of China has issued a set of coins to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
The obverse features the national emblem to announce that the victory is commemorated in the name of the nation while the rreverse simply says "2015", China.org reported.
Meanwhile, the State Post Bureau of China will issue a set of stamps on September 3 for the anniversary event.
The set will have 13 stamps and one souvenir sheet.
The stamps will display historical relics and the major museums and memorial sites associated with the war.
China has scheduled a series of events to mark the 70th anniversary of victory of the Chinese people's war of resistance against Japanese aggression on September 3.
