Chinese divers Wu Minxia and Shi Tingmao won the three-metre synchro gold medal at the World Swimming Championships at the Piscines de Montjuic here.
Wu and Shi had a total score of 338.4 points, considerably above the 307.8 of Italian pair Tania Cagnotto and Francesca Dallape, who won the silver Saturday. Canada's Pamela Ware and Jennnifer Abel took bronze with a total of 292.08 reports Xinhua.
This is the sixth world title in the women's three-metre synchronised springboard for Wu, who won her first World Championships medal in 2003 Barcelona. She also took gold medals in Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympics.
Shi is replacing He Zi, with whom Wu had won the gold in the last World Championships.
Diving competitions are taking place at the Piscines de Montjuic.
A total of 2,293 athletes are participating in the championships this year and 252 of them are competing in diving.
