Beijing, April 18 (IANS) China has given an assurance to comply with the UN resolution on North Korea and abide by the international duties related to it..
"We will firmly follow the UN resolution and honour related international obligations," Xinhua quoted foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying Wednesday.
The spokeswoman made the remarks in a press conference when asked whether China would follow the resolution, which imposes sanctions on North Korea.
"The UN resolution is clear. China is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and a responsible member of the international community," Hua said.
