Chinese company Wanfeng Auto Holding Group will double the capacity of two wheeler alloy wheels at its existing plant in Haryana's Rewari district from May with an additional investment of $25 million, it was announced on Wednesday.
The company made the assurance at a meeting chaired by Haryana Industries Minister Vipul Goel here.
It also showed keen interest for additional proposed investment of $200 million for four-wheeler alloy wheel plant to be setup in the state for which various site options were discussed.
The company also held deliberations for investment at the aviation hub at Hisar.
Wangfend Auto is the largest motorcycle wheels producer in the world with the annual production capacity of 40 million pieces.
