Chinese cuckold shoots six in revenge rampage

A man shot dead six people and injured three others to take revenge against his wife's lovers in China, police said Friday.

The suspect, 38-year-old Shao Zongqi, killed them in Yunnan province Thursday and is now wanted by the Tengchong county police, reported Xinhua.

Shao, who is from Qingkou village, is suspected of carrying out the murders with what is believed to be a semi-automatic rifle before he escaped, police said.

Shao discovered that his wife had been having affairs with two men from the same village, Zongping and Zonghua. He killed Zongping, Zongping's wife, their two sons, Zonghua's father and Zonghua's wife.

Zonghua, his son and daughter were injured in the attack and hospitalised.

The police have offered a 200,000-yuan reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspected attacker.
