The "Dance like we're making love" hitmaker and American rapper have announced that they will be co-hosting the awards ceremony to be held for the first time at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 22, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
In a statement, Ludacris, whose real name is Christopher Bridges, said: "It is my honour to host the Billboard Music Awards for the third year and a pleasure to host with my good friend Ciara. I'm looking forward to another great show in a new and exciting venue."
The 30-year-old singer also gave out a statement that she is looking forward to sharing the stage with Ludacris on the special night.
"The Billboard Music Awards is one of best awards shows to honour chart success. My great friend Ludacris and I have also shared songs together on the Billboard chart. I look forward to sharing the stage with him on this special night. It will definitely be a night to remember," she said.
The nominations for the awards show are yet to be announced.
