CII confident Kejriwal will be industry friendly

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Saturday congratulated Arvind Kejriwal for becoming Delhi's chief minister and said it was sure his government will be industry friendly.

The CII said it would work with the new government in areas such as employment creation, skill development, women's empowerment and infrastructure development

CII director general Chandrajit Banerjee said: "CII looks forward to a strong partnership between the state government and industry...

"CII is confident that the new government would be industry friendly and strengthen Delhi's pre-eminent position both economically and socially."
