Country singer Martina McBride has teamed up with "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson for her new single "In the basement". It will be released April 8.
The track is a cover of the 1966 song recorded by Etta James and Sugar Pie DeSanto.
The collaboration was revealed by Clarkson earlier this year.
The new version of "In the basement" will feature in McBride's forthcoming album "Everlasting". The record will include 12 covers of soul and R&B songs, reports aceshowbiz.com.
McBride has also performed a duet with Gavin DeGraw for the album.
