A fundraiser for US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign will be held at Black Hat, a major cyber security conference in Las Vegas.
Jeff Moss, founder of the Black Hat and DefCon cyber security conferences will attend the fundraiser on Wednesday, Black Hat public relations manager Meredith Corley told Xinhua on Tuesday.
However, the event is not organised by Black Hat USA 2016, which attracts prominent cyber security experts and hackers from around the world. "It's not a Black Hat show," Corley said.
Cyber security issues have plagued Clinton's campaign for months, from her long-running email controversy to the recent hacks of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Clinton's own campaign network.
The two hour-long fundraiser scheduled for the hackers community will be held just days after new reports surfaced that a number of emails of the DNC were published by hackers on the Wikileaks website.
