The national capital will experience a partly cloudy and humid Saturday, the Met Office said.
"The sky will be partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 40 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above season's average.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 70 percent.
Friday's maximum temperature settled at 42.3 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 29.0 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
