"CM CM Hota Hai", a new web series, will chronicle the struggles and hurdles faced by an honest politician working for the benefit of the people as he pursues the vision of making the country a better place to live in.

Set to be launched on November 21, the web-series is the story of Rao Saab, played by veteran actor Atul Srivastav. The role is of a simple, honest, and humble Mumbaikar who lives with his family and gets thrust into the public limelight as a potential leader and eventually becomes the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

With no knowledge of how politics works, Rao Saab tries to uphold his oath to protect and serve his people with honesty and integrity.

Talking about it, the seasoned actor said in a statement: "My role in the series is about a simple and honest common man who ends up in a situation where he gets elected as a Chief Minister. It's about his journey and struggle where he realises that he doesn't have any traits of a politician.

"He is surrounded by so many procedures that he is completely helpless. The show will talk about serious issues in a lighter way."

With a new episode released every fortnight, "CM CM Hota Hai" will be available on Web Talkies' platform as well as YouTube, Facebook, Dailymotion, Veblr, Nexgtv and Vimeo. It will also feature actors Praveen Hingonia and Devender Chaudhary.
