Atletico de Kolkata may have had a sluggish start in the ongoing third edition of the Indian Super League (ISL) football tournament, but their head coach Jose Molina says he is not unduly worried about it.
ATK, who won the inaugural year of the tournament in 2014 and reached the semi-final last year, have so far got six points from four matches - three draws and only one win - and take on Delhi Dynamos FC at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium on Saturday.
Addressing the match eve media meet, Molina pointed out that his team would move to only a point behind table toppers NorthEast United FC if they win on the morrow.
"If we can win, we have nine with one game in hand, which is good, and I don't worry about the position right now. The only thing in my mind now is to do well tomorrow and get full three points," the Spaniard said.
Praising Delhi's defence, Molina said it would be a tough battle on Saturday.
He said like ATK, Delhi have not lost any game till now.
"They started really well, and have not lost yes. I think we have similar teams. I have confidence in my boys. But Delhi are a good side with a strong defence and it will be tough tomorrow," he said.
The Spaniard said his team was looking to play better football.
"I think we can improve, and of course we want to improve. We want to play better and we are trying to do it."
"My team deserved some more victories and points. But there are still ten matches to go and many more points to win, and right now on our mind it's not the past or the future, it's tomorrow's match."
ATK's marquee signing Helder Postiga would not be available for the game, but hoped he would be fit for the October 28 match against NorthEast.
Jose Luis Espinosa Arroyo (Tiri) and Ofentse Nato could be in the starting XI, the coach said.
"Nato is available for tomorrow and Tiri is also available and I think we can have a good eleven for tomorrow's game."
