Croatian midfielder Luka Modric, who underwent an operation on his left knee earlier this month, joined Real Madrid's training session on Friday for their upcoming La Liga football match.
The Balkan midfielder, a day after signing his contract extension until 2020, took another step in recovery by running in the lawn of the Valdebebas Sports City, before completing exercises inside the facilities of Madrid sports complex, reports Efe.
Sergio Ramos and Casemiro also joined the training session as reported by the club.
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane directed the penultimate preparatory session before facing Athletic Bilbao on Sunday in the Santiago Bernabeu, in the ninth round of La Liga.
