The Coast Guard on Wednesday rescued 14 crew of a fishing boat adrift in the sea for the last 10 days, officials said.

Coast Guard officials said Seagull boat was spotted around 137 miles from Mumbai coast by a Dornier aircraft on Monday.

Coast Guard ship Samudra Prahari sailed from Mumbai on Monday and towed the boat and its crew back to the shore amid rough seas.

The boat and the crew were handed over to the Fisheries Department officials on Wednesday.
