Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) on Thursday announced a net profit of Rs 156 crore, besides declaring a dividend of 25 per cent, for fiscal 2017-18.
This was announced here at a board meeting chaired by CIAL Chairman and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
CIAL, is the country's first airport that has more than 18,000 investors, who have been getting dividend from 2003-04 and with the last fiscal the total dividend payout touched 203 per cent.
The Kerala government, which enjoys a share of 32.41 per cent in the company, was given Rs 31.01 crore during last fiscal.
CIAL currently stands fourth in the country in terms of international traffic and seventh in total traffic. In 2017-18 it handled 10 million passengers.
