Shiva-starrer forthcoming Tamil comedy "Thillu Mullu", a remake of superstar Rajinikanth's cult comedy of the same name, has been cleared with a U-certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification.
The Rajinikanth-starrer 1981 Tamil comedy "Thillu Mullu" was the official remake of Hindi film "Golmaal" featuring Amol Palekar. It has been again remade with the same name, but with an all-new cast.
"The censor board has given a 'U' certificate with no cuts to 'Thillu Mullu'. It'll release worldwide June 14," said a statement from the production house.
Produced by S. Madhan, "Thillu Mullu" also features Isha Talwar, Prakash Raj, Kovai Sarla, Sathyan, Soori, Manobala and Santhanam.
