Roseau (Dominica), July 14 (IANS/CMC) Former president of the Dominica Football Association (DFA) Dexter Francis has reportedly signed a "compromise" arrangement with the football body.
Francis had taken the DFA to court for what he alleges was monies owed to him when he was CEO and president, reports CMC.
He has been very vocal about the matter and vowed to "fight to the end".
However, recent developments showed signs that both parties are nearing a settlement over their long-winding legal battle.
Tension between Francis and the DFA intensified when the former president was suspended by members of the DFA who gathered for its AGM.
However, media reports stated that when the matter was brought before the court last week Francis' lawyer William Riviere, withdrew from the matter.
DFA officials are not commenting on the matter but it was further reported that Francis and the DFA have signed an agreement and they are not to speak to the media about the matter.
