The Asian ministerial conference on disaster risk reduction will be held here in November, an official statement said on Tuesday.
It would be the first such conference after the 3rd UN world conference on the subject in Sendai in Japan in March last year, the statement said.
The conference aimed at providing a platform to the member-countries to share best practices in disaster risk reduction will see the participation of about 4,000 delegates from the Asian region.
