Congress appoints four working presidents in Gujarat
The Congress party on Friday appointed four working presidents in Gujarat ahead of the assembly elections in the state.
The Congress also appointed a state election committee with state Congress chief Bharatsinh Solanki as its chairman.
A Congress release said that party Vice President Rahul Gandhi has approved the appointment of Tushar Chaudhary, Paresh Dhanani, Kuwarji Bavaliya and Karsan Das Sonali as working presidents.
The election committee, which will recommend names of candidates for assembly polls, also includes party leaders Ahmed Patel and Madhusudan Mistry.
