The Congress on Saturday approved formation of a Pradesh Election Committee and Election Manifesto Committee for upcoming assembly elections in Uttarakhand.
Nav Parbhat has been made chairman of the manifesto panel and Pardeep Tamta its convenor.
"Congress President Sonia Gandhi has approved the Pradesh Election Committee and Election Manifesto Committee of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress for 2017 assembly elections," said Congress general secretary Janardan Dwivedi in a statement.
