The Lok Sabha's proceedings were again disrupted on Tuesday during question hour as Congress members raised slogans and demanded Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's resignation over alleged corruption in the DDCA.

As soon as the lower house of parliament met for the day's business, Congress members began shouted slogans against the central government and demanded Jaitley's resignation over the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) issue.

Speaker Sumitra Mahajan tried to clam them down and asked them to go back to their seats, but they did not listen and instead trooped near her podium.

Meanwhile, treasury bench members tried to carry on with the question hour but nothing was heard amid the din.

The protesting Congress members walked out of the house around 12 noon just when the question hour was about to end.

Question hour has witnessed disruptions ever since the Delhi High Court on December 7 cancelled the plea of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi to appear before a Delhi court in the National Herald newspaper case.

The Rajya Sabha's proceedings were once again repeatedly disrupted on Tuesday - four times in the pre-lunch session - over the alleged corruption in the cricket body as Congress members raised slogans against the central government.
