The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court (HC) has served a contempt notice on union Home Secretary Rajeev Maharshi on a petition filed by suspended IPS officer Amitabh Thakur.
While hearing the case pertaining to suspension of Thakur, the court on Thursday said it had given three weeks on December 16 last year, to the union home secretary to act upon the petition.
