The Culture Ministry, along with its 43 organisations under it, will be observing the 4th "Swachhta Pakhwada", a fortnightly campaign that aims to spread more awareness about the need and importance of cleanliness.
The campaign was launched by Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma during the 'Swachhta Hi Sewa Sbhiyaan' programme held here on Sunday.
During the campaign, to be held from September 16 to 30, various autonomous, attached and subordinate organisations under the ministry are undertaking about 414 activities related to the objective through lectures, seminars, 'nukkad nataks' (street plays) and cleanliness activities with an objective of dissemination of the message of "Swachh Bharat".
