D'Antoni resigns as Lakers coach
Los Angeles Lakers announced that Mike D'Antoni had stepped down as head coach of the NBA team.
D'Antoni became the Lakers' head coach in the 2012-2013 season. The Lakers got a 67-87 record under his coaching, reports Xinhua.
The Lakers met with injury troubles this season, with Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash and Pau Gasol missing most of the season.
