Musician Vishal Dadlani has requested people to stop following a fake account of lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya on Twitter.
"Just got a text from Amitabh Bhattacharya, the lyricist. He's being impersonated on twitter by A FAKE called @MainAmitabh. Unfollow/block," Dadlani, who has worked with the lyricist in movies like "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Chennai Express", tweeted on Friday.
"This fake account, @MainAmitabh is writing to ppl in the film business, pretending to be Amitabh Bhattacharya. Block," he added.
Described as "National Award Winner Lyricist. Singer. Something. Everything. Nothing", the "fake" Bhattacharya has been tweeting about new film releases like "Piku" and "Gabbar is Back".
With over 300 followers, he is following celebrities like Anurag Kashyap and Amit Trivedi.
