"The Walking Dead" fame actress Danai Gurria is in talks to star in monster film "Godzilla vs. Kong".
According to The Hollywood Reporter, not much has been revealed about Gurria's character, but she will play one of the film's leading roles.
"Godzilla vs. Kong" will be the latest addition to the "Godzilla" franchise and will be a crossover event putting together two of the most popular movie monsters of all time. The film will also follow "Godzilla", "Kong: Skull Island" and the upcoming "Godzilla: King of the Monsters".
Gurria, who is also known for her role as Okoye in "Black Panther" will share screen in the film with "Deadpool 2" actress Julian Dennison.
Being directed by Adam Wingard, the film is slated to release on May 22, 2020.
