Dark clouds across Delhi sky, rain likely Friday

New Delhi, April 25 (IANS) Dark clouds enveloped the city Thursday which saw cool winds blowing in towards the evening. The met department has forecast light rain Friday.

Earlier Thursday, Delhi witnessed a hot day with maximum temperature recorded at 38.5 degrees Celsius and minimum at 23.2 degrees, both average for this time of the season.

The humidity wavered between a high of 77 percent and low of 25 percent.

"Friday will be cloudy and light rain is expected," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 37 and 23 degrees Celsius, respectively.
