The daughter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's younger brother Prahladbhai died here on Tuesday following a prolonged heart illness, family sources said on Wednesday. She was 41.
Nikunjaben Modi used to give private tuitions to school students and was into weaving clothes from home, the sources added.
Her husband Jagdishbhai works in a private company. They have a 12-year-old son. The family used to live in a rented house in the city's Bopal area.
She was treated by eminent heart surgeon R.K. Patel in Ahmedabad.
The Prime Minister's brother Prahladbhai Modi is vice-president of All-India Fair Price Shop Dealers' Federation and runs a fair price shop in Gujarat.
