DDA official arrested for taking bribe

The CBI on Monday arrested an officer of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for taking a bribe of Rs.1 lakh for clearing a bill, an official said.

Omvir Singh had demanded Rs.2 lakh for clearing the bill of the complainant. He was caught red-handed after he accepted the bribe.

A case has been registered against Omvir Singh, said the official.
